Fees: The fee recommended by the BC Psychological Association for the services of Psychologists is $160.00 per session. My flexible fee schedule goes from $120 - $160 based on family income.

Health Care Coverage: Psychologist fees are covered by most Extended Health Care Plans, by Crime Victim Assistance programs, and, for members of the First Nations Communities by Intertribal Health and Non-Insured Health Benefits. Please review your plan to determine the amount of coverage available and the best process for submitting your receipts.

Sandra Wieland, PhD., a registered clinical psychologist and play therapist, has worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults who experience distress, anxiety, dissociation or trauma. She blends cognitive, behavioural and EMDR therapies within a psychodynamic approach. Before moving to Victoria, she was founder and clinical director of the Centre for Treatment of Sexual Abuse and Childhood Trauma in Ottawa. She has presented workshops across Canada, the U.S., and in Europe. She has written several books and articles for therapists.  She has served on the Board  of Directors  of EMDR-Canada and  the BC Play Therapy Association. She is presently on the Board of Directors of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, and is co-chair of the Children and Adolescent Committee.
